Rachel Renee Branström

Introduced to the 21st-century student in a high school art class, the art of writing with a quill and inkwell is enchanting, with deep historic roots. As with many ancient techniques, it has seen multitudinous developments and taken sundry forms across the globe over centuries. For the last decade, Rachel has been practicing the Latin and Gothic hands, creating modern manuscripts and adapting traditions for her own purposes as well as commissions.
